Dong Ho folk painting shines at Asia festival in New York


Hundreds of Dong Ho folk painting delighted visitors at an Asian festival at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. At the Vietnamese stall decorated with eye-catching colourful lanterns from Hoi An, attendees could pick Dong Ho drawings and have them printed as gifts. Traditional craft festival to open in Hue

Hue traditional craft festival is due to take place in central Thua Thien - Hue province, from April 29 - May 3, 2015, announced the provincial People's Committee during a press conference on December 26. Korean painters stage fine art exhibition in Hue

Art lovers and visitors alike were impressed by an exhibition "Point of Intersection" presented by artists Eugene Jung and Kim Sung Mi from the Republic of Korea (RoK), held in Hue city from August 12-18. A festival on Vietnamese history and culture held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea on September 22, helps strengthen ties in Vietnamese-Korean families, which are on rise in the RoK in recent time. Ho Chi Minh’s prison diary on display in RoK

A calligraphy exhibition featuring excerpts from late President Ho Chi Minh’s Prison Diary, opened on April 9 at the Suncheon National University’s museum, in the south Jeolla province in the Republic of Korea. International exchange exhibition on Vietnam, RoK

The second exhibition on the Republic of Korea (RoK) - Vietnam international exchange opened in Hanoi on Feb. 18, showcasing 80 paintings by artists of both countries.
