Paintings by three Southeast Asian artists on show in Vietnam

As many of 47 artworks by 22 painters from three Southeast Asian nations, including Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, are on display at a water colour exhibition which opened at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi on April 1st. British Council Vietnam to launch Art Fund

Opportunity for Vietnamese artists to find aid from UK fund

A British arts fund which has raised US$42,000 is set to aid Vietnamese artists in developing their careers and strengthening their international links. In October 2010, the British Council, in collaboration with the Bui Gallery, organised an arts auction with works donated by the Ford Foundation and artists such as Nguyen Manh Hung, Ly Tran Quynh Giang, Pham Huy Thong and Jamie Maxtone-Graham. British Council does its bit for art in Vietnam

The British Council in Vietnam will auction a collection of artworks donated by Vietnamese and foreign artists and the US-based Ford Foundation in Hanoi October 10 to support contemporary art in Vietnam.
