VietNamNet Bridge - Prominent literary translator Trinh Lu, whose translations include Life of Pi, Norwegian Wood, The Centaur in the Garden, has revealed a new talent, painting, at an ongoing exhibit in Ha Noi. Entitled Painting en Plein Air in America, the exhibition showcases 67 oil paintings created by the translator between July and December of 2014. Vietnam-American artist’s work shown

The Leavers, an exhibition of new work by Brooklyn-based artist Trong Gia Nguyen, will open at 6pm today at Galerie Quynh in HCM City. Nguyen and his immediate family of 11 in addition to three relatives left HCM City on April 30, 1975, the day of Viet Nam's reunification.
