Exhibition “Passage to the East”

We hereby cordially presents a piece of solo exhibition of painter Nguyễn Thụ named "Passage to the East". From over 400 sketches, studies and silk paintings by artist Nguyen Thu in the collection of Tira Vanictheeranont, we have built into the book "Nguyen Thu - Passage to the East" throughout 2014. For a nation with an history that goes back thousands of years, Vietnamese contemporary art is relatively young. It began a mere 75 years ago with a group of artists who were trained at the Indochina School of Fine Arts (Ecole des Baux Arts de l'Indochine) of Ha Noi.
