In 1860, Saigon Port was founded with the name Saigon Commercial Port. It was renamed Saigon Port in 1975.

HCMC artists display outcomes of fieldtrips

An exhibition displaying more than 100 artworks by members of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association opened on August 7 at the city's Fine Arts Museum. The exhibits were composed by the artists during field trips held by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association last year to various parts of the country. Color of south on show downtown

More than 130 artworks from six established artists are being displayed at HCMC Fine Arts Museum until Monday, featuring a feast of colors on daily life in the exhibition The Color of the South.
