Paintings by three Southeast Asian artists on show in Vietnam

As many of 47 artworks by 22 painters from three Southeast Asian nations, including Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, are on display at a water colour exhibition which opened at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi on April 1st. This is the first water color exhibition ever takes place in Vietnam for artists from those 3 countries. Hanoi’s dreams in Canada


Tens of paintings by five Vietnamese talented painters are displayed at an exhibition entitled “Hanoi Dreams” in Toronto, Canada. The exhibition opened on November 22 at the “Art Square” Gallery, introducing artworks by five contemporary artists from Vietnam: Trinh Quoc Chien, Vu Huong Quynh, Nguyen Minh Thanh, Ngo Van Sac and Nguyen Quang Minh. ‘New and Old Architecture in Vietnam’ at the HCMC Fine Arts Museum presents the unique insights of four Thai artists. There are 114 works made of pencil on paper or water color on paper by Thirasak Wongcumnan, Somyot Kumsang, Suwit Jaipom and Direk Kingnok.
