Oil-painting and photo exhibition “Uncle Ho with Thai Nguyen”

(CPV) – On February 16th (January 9th on the lunar calendar), an photo exhibition titled “Uncle Ho with Thai Nguyen” including oil-paintings themed “Vietnam – Country – People” opened at the ATK ecological – historical vestige in Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen province.

The exhibition showcases 115 documentary photos and oil-paintings introducing Uncle Ho’s activities at the Viet Bac Safety Zone ATK in the anti-French resistance war, showing the sentiments of the Party Committee, authorities and ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province to Uncle Ho in the 1954-1964 period.

Besides, it also displays a number of photos of Thai Nguyen’s land and people, and activities at the 12th National Party Congress.

The exhibition helps visitors better understand the time Uncle Ho spent living and working in Thai Nguyen, thus contributing to educating the younger generation on revolutionary and patriotic tradition in the renewal process.

It will continue until February 17th./.
