Description: This book features four leading painters of the “first generation” of Vietnamese art: Nguyen Gia Tri, To Ngoc Van, Nguyen Sang and Bui Xuan Phai. There are several articles about each master and samples of their work.

They were circumscribed in the span of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de l’Indochine, from 1925 to 1945, recognized as the first contact between Vietnamese traditional art and Western art. This rare volume is printed on offset paper.
